The calves watched as he fluttered on the wind and followed him to the very back of the pasture towards a narrow stream.  The cows were thirsty after playing in the pasture and sniffed along the bank of the creek. There was a rocky ledge along one side where the water tumbled over the rocks and gurgled and rushed by the trees.  Upstream, the water slowed in a pool. The water was moving and the edges smell of mud.
