What I have learned today

I feel like I have become a collector of websites so I can suggest opportunities.

Because I don’t want to just forward junk, I have been on a virtual world tour today. I got to meet Fiona the baby hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo at http://cincinnatizoo.org/. That was super fun, I got to see her eat lettuce and cucumbers up close with the zookeeper. I missed the live tour and watch a video because I forgot about the time difference. But I meant to watch part of it and watch the whole 20 minutes.

I use the http://explore.org/ channel for our Decorah Eagles a lot at school, but found there are a ton of other animals, so I took a calm-down time watching/listening to jellyfish swim, and visited the fish aquarium at the Long Beach, California.

I toured the Musée d’Orsay, Paris at https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/musee-dorsay-paris?hl=en and see some fabulous painting and zoom in on Van Grogh’s brush strokes so close that I would have been removed by security officers if I was that close in person.

I visited another zoo and didn’t forward it because it was too much like real life. The cameras were on the fence or something, so I got to watch elephant backsides from really far away as they drank water, and stare at an alligator that didn’t move. Yeah for vetting!

For the musical entertainment, I virtually attended the Dropkick Murphy’s last night and tomorrow night I am planning for the Indigo Girls Concert on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/theindigogirls/photos/pb.39413943443.-2207520000../10157881279703444/?type=3&theater so excited for that one.

I never get to do this much stuff. I was planning to catch up on household chores and do a good cleaning. Good luck with that. I am virtually touring! I will have to squeeze in some of “teacher work” tomorrow. I have so much to share!
